Sole Elliptical Trainers - One Of The Biggest Names In The Elliptical Biz

Sole is one of the best known companies that makes treadmills and elliptical trainers. They are know for the quality and warranty coverage of their products. Sole elliptical trainers are popular, high quality machines.

Sole is one of the few companies that actually spent time consulting biomechanics researchers and other academics in order to develop their elliptical trainers. While most companies simply copy others' designs and make some changes, Sole has spent years developing their elliptical trainers. A lot of research has gone into producing their machines.

Pros

One of the outstanding features of Sole's ellipticals is that they have a long stride length. Most ellipticals have a stride length of 15-18 inches, but Sole goes the extra mile and gives you a stride length of 20 inches. This is one of the reasons why Sole's ellipticals are so comfortable. A long stride length produces a more natural feel.

Another reason people prefer Soles is that they are probably the quietest elliptical trainer on the market. Even at high speed, the Sole runs so quietly you hardly know it's there.

Soles are also affordable. They are constantly ranked as a "best buy" elliptical trainer by websites and magazines. You can buy a Sole for as low as $1,000 if you hunt around. It's pretty hard to find an elliptical of this quality for that price.

Cons

One of the downsides of Sole machines is that they don't have quite as many customization options as some other ellipticals. If you want to personalize your workout and save your programs, you may need a more complex machine. However, if you just want a smooth workout on a comfortable and durable elliptical trainer, a Sole is a great machine at a great price.

Some customers have also had trouble with the parts. There are sometimes repairs or replacements that need to be taken care of. This is a pain, but it's all covered under their generous warranty, which is more than can be said for lots of elliptical companies out there.

Sole's Ellipticals

Sole E25 - The E25 is often recommended for beginners. You can easily find one at just under $1,000. While they don't have all the special features of the more expensive models, the E25 is a smooth, high quality machine.

Sole E35 - The E35 is right in the middle in terms of price and quality. Most Sole users would probably recommend either going with the cheaper E25, or spending a little extra and getting the E55. The E35 doesn't offer much more than an E25 does, and it lacks some of the features that make the E55 popular. Still, it's a well-made machine.

Sole E55 - The E55 has many more features than the cheaper models. This model sells for $1,500, and you'd be hard pressed to find another elliptical in this price range with this many features. It is also solidly built and comfortable.

Sole E95 - This model goes for $1,700 and, like the other Sole ellipticals, it is way ahead of the other ellipticals in this price range. If you want a good, solid design and as many features as a $3,000 elliptical, this would be a good buy.

The best part about Sole's ellipticals is that they stand by their products. Sole offers a great warranty, and their customer service is quite good. This is another reason why a Sole makes a great elliptical if you are on a budget.
